29th Hollywood Forever Cemetery Tour
The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles presents another installment of its annual Halloween tour of the 113-year-old cemetery, final resting place for many of Hollywood’s greatest stars. The lengthy stroll provides a wonderful alternative to other Halloween events in Los Angeles: more historical than horrific (there are no monsters or ghosts among the tombstones), with a fascinating overview of the cemetery and its most famous residents.
THE EXORCIST at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Cinespia presents their last outdoor screening of the season at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. In director William Friedkin’s film version of William Peter Blatty’s novel (scripted by the author), Linda Blair stars as an innocent young girl possessed by a demon. The Oscar-winning film set new standards in on screen horror when released in 1973; although time has softened the shocks, the conviction of the film still shines through, thanks to Friedkin’s determination to present the events as realistically as possible, without the usual horrorshow melodramatics.
The Birds at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Cinespia presents this screening under the stars of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 horror masterpiece, THE BIRDS, starring Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor.

The Terminator at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Cinespia presents a screening of James Cameron’s 1984 sleeper hit, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the unstoppable cyborg from the future.
This is an outdoor screening, beneath the stars, so bring blankets, drinks and picnic dinner. As a courtesy to other moviegoers: no tall chairs, please.
