The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks offers this weekend event to boys at Griffith Park. Boys ages 7 through 14 can enjoy such activities as pumpkin carving, a costume contest, a scary maze, a candy hunt, a night hike, and more. Dates: October 19-21.

A vast variety of Halloween events are opening in Los Angeles on the weekend of Friday, October 5, 2010, and if you don’t start now you are likely to miss much of hauntingly horrible fun. Hence, we have gathered together in one convenient place, a list of exciting attractions now available to you, including Reign of Terror, Heritage Haunt, Nightmare at Scareview Farms, 13 Nights of Terror, Haunted Midnights, the 4th Annual Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt, and many more! The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, which made its debut last year at King Gillette Ranch, moves to Griffith Park for 2010. This year there will be not only the hayride but also a haunted carnival and a haunted hay maze. Ghost stories will be read on special even nights, including October 9, with Linda Blair (THE EXORCIST).
