October 1 Brings More Halloween Horror!
Queen Mary Dark Harbor, Old Town Haunt, and The Empty Grave open this weekend.
At long last, October has arrived, and this means even more Halloween horror haunting Los Angeles and the surrounding environs. The weekend sees three major attractions: The Queen Mary Dark Harbor in Long Beach, The Old Town Haunt in Pasadena, and The Empty Grave in Anaheim; plus two family friendly events, Snoopy’s Costume Party at Knott’s Berry Farm and Brick or Treat party Nights at Legoland.

The Empty Grave – Halloween 2010

Description: Formerly the Haunted Cellar, this Halloween haunt expanded into the Empty Grave for 2009. Unlike most haunted walk-through attractions (which tend to be claustrophobic), this one is large and cavernous, creating a unique atmosphere.

More Halloween Events in Los Angeles open this weekend
Knotts Scary Farm officially launched Halloween Season 2009 last night, getting a jump on the competition. Not wanting to be left behind, four other Halloween haunts are opening today: Old Town Haunt in Pasadena, the Halloween Harvest Festival near Pierce College in Chatsworth, and Disneyland Halloween Time and The Empty Grave, both in Anaheim.
The Empty Grave (formerly “Haunted Cellar”) Halloween 2009 Dates and Hours
This Orange County Halloween attraction, which has been running for four years, used to be called The Haunted Cellar. For 2009, they promise an all-new experience, “over 100 times larger” and completely redesigned, with “over 50,000 square feet of terror.” Sounds like fun!
