NOTE: The official website states that, after 20 years of haunting, 2006 was Grimmstone’s final year. We can only hope that some day it opens its gates again for Halloween.
GRIMMSTONE CEMETERY FEATURES: This is one of the must-see amateur haunts in Los Angeles. Basically, it’s a circular driveway loaded with elaborate mechanical effects (moving tombstones, creaking coffins, a talking skeleton, a floating ghost, etc). It’s not too scary for little kids (no gore, no one jumping out to scare you), but the elaborate decorations are extremely atmospheric and impressive.
