This is quite a bit farther south of Los Angeles than most of the Halloween attractions we cover, but it’ may be worth the drive if you are looking for a kid-friendly trick-or-treat event.
2011 BRICK-OR-TREAT TRAIL DATES & HOURS: weekends during the Halloween season: October 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30; from noon to 8:00pm on Saturdays, noon to 5:00pm on Sundays.
2011 BRICK-OR-TREAT PARTY NIGHTS – DATES & HOURS: Saturdays in October; 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Regular park hours are from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
2011 LEGOLAND BRICK-OR-TREAT TICKETS:
- Brick-or-Treat Trail: this event is open to all Legoland park guests, included with the price of General Admission, which is $69 for adults and $59 for children (3-12) and seniors (60+). (The Sea Life Aquarium and the Water Park require separate admissions.)
- Brick-or-Treat Party Nights Hopper: $25 (online only) for evening admission to select areas of Legoland from 5-9pm, and Sea Life from 5-8pm.
- Brick-or-Treat Hopper: $55 (online only) for full-day admission ot Legoland and Sea Life during Brick-or-Treat, plus a 2nd day free.
LEGOLAND DISCOUNTS: There are combo deals that give you a discount for “Resort Hopper” tickets that allows you to visit Legoland, the Sea Life Aquarium, and/or the Water Park. Online purchases can get you a second day free or at a reduced price depending which parks you include in your ticket. NOTE: The Brick-or-Treat Hopper and Party Nights Hopper deals are available only online.
2011 LEGOLAND PARKING: $12 for cars, $15 for RVs, $5 for motorcycles, $20 for preferred parking.
2011 BRICK-OR-TREAT FEATURES: All the usual Legoland rides and attractions will be open, plus these special Halloween treats.
- Legoland’s Brick-or-Treat Trail offers seven Lego-themed treat stations with candy, healthful snacks, and a few suprrises along the way. There is also a Brick-or-Treat Bonus Station at Sea Life Carlsbad Aquarium. Activities include building Jack O’Lanterns from Lego blocks and a candy corn scavenger hunt.
- Brick-or-Treat Part Nights: Park areas such as Land of Adventure and Castle Hill stay open until 9:00pm. In addition to the usual shows, rides, and attractions, there will be special activites such as a night-time costume contest (winners receive 4 Resort Membership Passes and a gift basket); fireworks at 9pm; the Hubble Bubble dance party; the BOO Crew (Howlin’ Howie the Werewolf, Count and Countess Brickula, fortune teller Brickzini the Magnificant, and various jugglers, stilt walkers, etc). Other attractions include Professor Weasley performing on the Therminophone, Dr. Hyde’s percussion cart, Tap Dancing Skeletons, the Spirits of Brick-or-Treat Light Show on the Castle Rooftop, and “Mail Order Monsters” in the Courtyard Theatre, featuring Jester Funny Bones, Zac the Zombie, Howlin’ Howie, and Hubble Bubble.
