2009 REIGN OF TERROR ADMISSION: To Be Announced - Proceeds benefit the Conejo Recreation Center 403 West Hillcrest Drive Thousand Oaks, CA 9136 (where the haunt was located in 2008).
2009 REIGN OF TERROR UPDATES: Previously an amateur/community effort, this Halloween haunted house moved to a new location for its 10 anniversary, promising a much larger and more complex presentation.
REIGN OF TERROR HISTORY: The proprietor has been haunting yards off and on since 1985. In 2002, the effort began to grow more serious, culminating in a move to the Conejo Recreation and Park Center for 2008. The move in 2009 to Janns Marketplace (once the home of the Thousand Oaks Haunt) places the Reign of Terror in our Professional Halloween Haunted Houses category, although their proceeds still go to benefit the Conejo Recreation Center.
INFORMATION: This haunt claims to be appropriate for all ages. It features skeletons, hanging bodies, zombie figures, lightening, and fog. It won the 2006 HauntX Best Home Haunt Award.
LOCATION: Although technically located outside of Los Angeles County, this wonderful haunted house is worth the drive.
