Description: October – Halloween in the air! What better time for a good old-fashioned scary movie? THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) represents the height of the first great era of movie monsters: a lavishly produced, big-budget affair handled with master craftsmanship by director James Whale, who injects welcome comic relief and sometimes outright camp, livening up the proceedings considerably.
