The Birds at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Cinespia presents this screening under the stars of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 horror masterpiece, THE BIRDS, starring Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor. What begins as a romantic-comedy turns deadly when Earth’s aviary creatures begin unprovoked attacks upon humanity. Why have the birds turned against us? No one knows, and that’s part of what makes this film so disturbing. The special effects are dated, but the soundtrack (which orchestrates bird sound effects instead of music) remains effective.
