smoke and mirrors rabbit cageUpdate: SMOKE AND MIRRORS will be moving to The Road Theatre at 5103 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood. Previews begin January 18; the official run is form January 26 through March 16.

Description: Writer-performer-magician Albie Selnick’s play (which had a seven-week run last year) returns to the Promenade Playhouse for a limited engagement. Directed by Paul Millet (the creative force behind the excellent Wicked Lit Halloween plays), SMOKE AND MIRRORS is “re-imagined autobiography of Selznick,” portraying himself as a boy who uses magic to face the world after the death of his father. The cast includes Betinna Zacar, Yanna Fabian, Cody BUshee, Leeann St. John, Beck Black, and Rob Martinez. Sound and Lighting design by Bettina Zacar, Films by Jay Lee, Costumes by Julianne Dodds and Stage Managed by Maurie Gonzalez.

Dates & Hours: Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm, from September 29 through December 16, with a special Halloween show on Wednesday, October 31 at 8pm.
