Halloween horror screenings: Shriekfest 2012

The 12th annual incarnation of the Hollywood film festival and screenplay competition, with an emphasis on recognizing emerging young talent, will run on October 4 through 7. The schedule has yet to be announced, but all-inclusive festival passes are currently on sale for $140. Individual tickets will go on sale after titles are announced.

This year’s titles include IT’S IN THE BLOOD, starring Lance Henriksen; DEVOURED; MIMESIS starring Sid Haig and Courtney Gaines; THE HOUSE WITH 100 EYES; NAILBITER, REVENANT, FOUND IN TIME, MUIRHOUSE, and LAST KIND WORDS. Plus a selection of short subjects.
