If the late summer doldrums (not to mention the oppressive heat) have you wilting like a vampire exposed to sunlight, you can always cheer yourself with anticipation of all the upcoming Halloween events that will arrive in Los Angeles this fall. In fact, instead of simply waiting in line to be scared, you could turn the tables and scare others! That’s right: the Queen Mary Dark Harbor is now casting for their 17th annual Halloween event. If you like to frolic in brine (”goblins be thine”), here is your chance. And tell ‘em Hollywood Gothique sent you.

WHAT: The Queen Mary is searching for performers of all types to audition for a chance to become one of this year’s Dark Harbor
spirits. Auditions are by invite only. Applicants will need to submit
an application online and if approved will be emailed more information
regarding dates and times for auditions.

WHO: Performers of all types are encouraged to apply including those
with improvisation, acting and athletic skills, and those who are able
to move with energy. All ages, ethnicities and shapes are welcome.
