Description: The Arclight Cinemas Hollywood screens a brand new digital restoration of the 1976 science fiction film, set in a future time when no one is allowed to live past 30. Most citizens volunteer for a spectacular form of mass suicide; “Sandmen” hunt down those who try to escape. Michael York plays one of the sandmen, who has second thoughts when he meets a skeptical woman (Jenny Agutter) who tries to open his eyes to the truth of the decadent society.
