One of the best Halloween yard haunts in Los Angeles returns for another season of spookery. The House at Haunted Hill features elaborate mechanical and lighting effects synchronized to recorded music and narration, telling the tragic tale of a Hollywood starlet who had the misfortune to marry a man whose late wife apparently never read the part of the wedding vow that stats “till death do us part.”

This Halloween haunt in Corona returns for another season of scares, offering five haunted attractions: one hayride, two guided tours, and two unaccompanied walk-throughs. Hollywood Gothique has yet to make the long sojourn to Riverside County, but Coffin Creek’s reputation is sorely tempting us this year.
Dates: October 5-6, 12-13, 19-21, 25-28, 30-31.
The miraculous mirrored attraction opens its gates in Woodland Hills once more, on October 31, 2012, from 6:00pm to midnight. The Forest of Mirrors features a cemetery that seems endlessly extended thanks to a clever illusion: the forking pathways lead to arches, but the arches actually contain mirrors carefully placed so that you do not see your own reflection until you are almost ready to step through the looking glass.
