The 2nd Annual Women in Horror Month Celebration

Description: Dai Green and Reyna Young, in partnership with Dark Delicacies book store, host an event for Women in Horror Month, which was founded last year by writer Hannah Neurotica (Ax Wound Magazine) as a way to get women in the horror industry together and celebrate our strides and existence in the industry.

Female filmmakers, actresses, journalists, writers, special effects artists, and many others took this as an opportunity to get out there and celebrate the leaps and bounds that they their gender has made from just being seen as “the victims in a good horror film” to the strong personalities that drive much of horror films today.

Guests include:

Dark Delicacies will also be hosting a food drive to help refill the local food banks to help them recoup after the Holiday rush. People who bring in five (5) canned food or nonperishable food items will be entered into a special raffle to win some very unique prizes.

Steve Biodrowski owns and operates Hollywood Gothique. Since graduating from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema, Steve has worked as a film critic, script analyst, journalist, and interviewer. As a film journalist, his work has appeared in Movieline, Premiere, Le Cinephage (in France) and The Dark Side (in England). He served as the West Coast Editor of Cinefantastique magazine in the 1990s, then worked as the Vice President of Editorial Content at Fandom.com and, more recently, as the Executive Editor at Cinescape Online.
