Bed Sitting Room & A Boy and His Dog

The Cinefamily continues their Post-Apocalypse Now series with this double bill of eccentric cult films. Directed by Richard Lester, THE BED-SITTING ROOM is a black comedy that tells the tale of a handful of survivors in post-nuclear England, who try to go about their business as usual, with a British stiff-upper lip attitude, all while mutating into pieces of furniture (hence the title). A BOY AND HIS DOG, based on a Harlan Ellison story, stars Don Johnson as a young lad surviving in the wasteland with the help of his telepathic pooch.
