Dracula & Bride of Frankenstein at New Beverly – Watch the Trailer

It’s a double bill of classic Universal monster movies from the 1930s. DRACULA is the 1931 film that started it all, launching the first great wave of on-screen horror, with Bela Lugosi starring as the immortal vampire count. BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN is the apex – a lavish classic that mixes horror and black comedy to brilliant effect, with the brilliant James Whale directing Boris Karloff as the Monster and Elsa Lanchester as his Mate.
