Dates & Fireworks for Disneyland’s 2009 Halloween Time

Mark your calendars: This year’s Halloween Time at Disneyland in Buena Park will run from September 25 to November 1. The official webpage for the event has few details at present but promsises updates in the Fall. So far it sounds as if most of last year’s Halloween attractiosn will be carried over.

All the usual Disney rides and attractions will be open, but many with an extra special scary spin – though not too scary for young children. Last year’s attractions included:

  • Haunted Mansion Holiday: Haunted Mansion, open year-round, taking on the appearance of Halloween Town from A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS)
  • Woody’s Halloween Roundup: music, spooky tales, seasonal crafts, and a petting zoon, hosted by characters from TOY STORY
  • Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: a terrifying free-fall as you enter the Hollywood Tower Hotel. With a sculpted bats guarding the entry gates, there’s no telling if you will be able to find a way out.

UPDATE: This year, Disneyland will include a Halloween-themed fireworks display as part of Halloween Time.
