Red Dawn will set on New Beverly

The New Beverly presents John Milius’s right-wing wet dream about how cool it would be if the Soviets took over America because then kids could form into guerilla units and kill them. We can only assume the New Beverly is displaying a subtle sense of irony by screening the film on Independence Day.
