Cinespia presents another in their Cemetery Screenings Season 2009 series – which consists of classic and cult films screened in Hollywood Forever cemeter. The original CAT PEOPLE (unlike Paul Schrader’s horrendous 1982 remake) is one of the great, classic, subtle horror films from producer Val Lewton, emphasizing shadowy shudders rather than violent shocks. Directed by Jaques Tourneur, with Smone Simone as the woman who fears she will turn into a panther if her passions are aroused.

This is an outdoor venue, so bring a blanket, pillows, and a picnic; alcohol is permitted. Lawn chairs are permitted, but not tall chairs – you don’t want to block the view of those sitting behind you.

$10 donation tickets available at gate. $5 parking.

Gate opens at 7:30pm
