MOH: Joe Dante with The Howling
The Steve Allen Theatre kicks off its weekly “Masters of Horror Drive-In” series with a double bill from director Joe Dante, who will be in person to answer questions. The series, which continues through June, features episodes from the Showtime television series MASTERS OF HORROR, paired with feature films from each week’s in-person guest. The Dante double bill will consist of his 1980 werewolf film THE HOWLING (the first to use bladder effects to change a man into a wolf) and “Homecoming,” his politically charged MOT episode about soldiers who return from the dead in Iraq to cast their votes in an election.
